Campbell Signs Three Year Deal
According to NFL writer Adam Caplan, the Packers have signed former practice squad offensive tackle Chris Campbell to a three year deal.
This is a great move by the Packers. Tauscher likely has one foot out of the door at this point ( ), and the depth, past Bulaga, is woefully thin at tackle. Obviously, Thompson likes what he sees in Campbell, and the last year has proved beyond any doubt that Thompson can evaluate talent. Look for Campbell to have a serious shot at cracking the starting five this training camp. It really depends on whether the Packers will want Bulaga staying at tackle, guard, or a backup of either one.
